Hey Y’all!! A piscerian here… I was born and raised in New Hampshire; becoming a naturalized southerner in the summer of 2000. Before moving to Memphis I traveled the southeast working with non-profits as a volunteer with AmeriCorps *NCCC.
__AmeriCorps inspired me to return to school. I currently hold a BA in Geography from the University of Memphis’s College of Arts & Sciences. I'm currently pursuing an additional Bachelor in Nonprofit Development & Administration.
__During the day I work. Yeah, how else am I suppose to pay the car note? Board members are volunteers don't you know!?! I'm an office associate with the University of Memphis. I've been with the same department for 6 years. My co-workers are like my second family; I ♥ my ASR family.
__A little insight on my philosophy. Service learning is my compass in all volunteer activities. So when elected to the board of directors for the first time in 2005 I become a student of, and advocate for, the LGBT population of Memphis and the Mid-south.
